		<description>I tend to agree with you to a point. I can&#039;t speak for a CS degree but what attracted me to the MBA and specifically the evening program was that I&#039;d be in classes with other students who had spent several years in industry and were currently working professionals. In addition most of my professors had been out in industry (we had one guy who ran the marketing for Quiznos and Boston Market) for quite a while before coming to teach. So while we did have lectures and some &#039;ivory tower&#039; intellectuals we also had a lot of case discussions and group projects which presented many chances for out of the box type thinking.  
 
I do agree that you could attain the same knowledge by say starting your own business and learning as you go or learning on the job if you have the opportunity to do so (hell we did pretty good running Zoop with no business training at all!). For me I still think it was the right choice but I wouldn&#039;t prescribe it for anyone and everyone (which is why I wanted to go into my process for making the decision with this post). </description>
